Introduction

What is Phi 4?

Phi 4 (phi-4) is Microsoft's 14B state-of-the-art open model, released under the MIT license. It was built upon a blend of synthetic datasets, data from filtered public domain websites, and acquired academic books and Q&A datasets, so that small capable models are trained on high quality, reasoning-focused data.
